Theme Your Year is a 60- or 90-minute School-Based Pre-Service Workshop designed to help school leaders and staff co-create a meaningful, mission-aligned theme to guide the year ahead. Through a combination of staff surveys, reflective exercises, and creative facilitation, we uncover the values, energy, and focus your team wants to carry forward — and turn that into a clear, motivating theme that everyone can rally around.
Whether your goal is to build stronger community, reignite your "why," or set a powerful tone for culture and climate, this workshop is the spark.

What to Expect
Listen & Learn
We start by listening to your leadership team, your vision, and your school community. Through a short pre-session survey and optional leadership conversation, we gather insights about your school's strengths, goals, and areas of focus. This ensures the theme we co-create reflects your culture, values, and needs - not a generic slogan.
Create with Care
In a 60- or 90-minute live workshop, we guide your staff through intentional reflection, light movement, and collaborative conversation to surface shared values, challenges, and hopes for the year ahead. Using insights from a pre-session staff survey and input from school leadership, Oh, Well develops a customized, mission-aligned theme that anchors the experience. The workshop is designed around that theme - giving your team the space to connect, reflect, and unify. By the end of the session, staff will leave with clarity, inspiration, and a shared language to carry forward all year long.
Anchor & Activate
After the session, the leadership team will receive branded theme language, visual assets, and a simple integration guide to bring the theme to life in authentic, everyday ways. Whether you're introducing it through bulletin boards, morning announcements, staff shout outs, or student assemblies, we offer practical tools to make the theme visible and felt throughout your school community. You’ll also have the option to incorporate milestone check-ins and ongoing strategies to help your team stay aligned with the theme throughout the year - including ideas for student engagement and participation. Because when a theme is lived, not just launched, it becomes a foundation for real culture change.
